All REALTOR® members are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time within 3-year cycles as a condition of membership. Starting 1/1/22, we will begin the 7th cycle (1/1/22-12/31/24).
Effective 1/1/22, only REALTOR® Code of Ethics classes offered by their local Association, the State Association or the National Association will be accepted for this membership obligation.
New members must complete the class within the first 90 days of their membership. No exemptions for appraisers, attorneys or grandfathered licensees. Acceptable classes can be found on the professional development page of this website or on our calendar, or take one of the 3 online options through nribr.theceshop.com tagged as “NAR Ethics” or take 1 of the 2 online options through nribr.mckissock.com tagged as “NAR Ethics” or through the RI Assoc. of REALTORS® or through the National Assoc.of REALTORS®.
