(Cranston, RI – April 1, 2025) – The Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® (NRIBR) announces that its 2026 grant application process is opening soon for local nonprofit organizations within its geographic region (Central Falls, Pawtucket, Cumberland, Lincoln, North Smithfield, Woonsocket). Through these grants the NRIBR Community Action Committee aims to empower local nonprofits through both financial support and collaborative partnership opportunities. Applications will be accepted 4/1/25 through 6/30/25 and awardees will be announced in October. Eligible organizations must be qualified as exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Applications are available online at www.nribr.realtor/charitable-works.
The Northern Rhode Island Food Pantry was honored as the 2024 and 2025 grant recipient, receiving a total of $12,000 in financial support, along with additional donations of food for its pantry, all generously provided by the Association and its more than 600 members.
