Awards

The Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® is pleased to recognize the sales achievements of its members as well as the contributions members make to the real estate industry, the REALTOR® Association and the Community at Large. 

C2EX Endorsement
In 2018, the National Association of REALTORS® launched
Commitment to Excellence (C2EX), a program that empowers REALTORS® to demonstrate their professionalism and commitment to conducting business at the highest standards. Diamond Sales Awards
Presented each April;  This recognition program is composed of outstanding REALTOR® members who have attained designated sales and listing volume and who strive to provide the highest level of professional real estate services.

The 2023 Diamond Sales Awards (1/1/23-12/31/23 production year) applications were due 1/24/24.  Filing period is now closed.

Good Neighbor Award
Presented to a member who has made a positive impact in the Northern Rhode Island Community, the Good Neighbor Award seeks to highlight and inspire an individual’s personal contribution to the community as well as their impact as a role model for other REALTORS®.  The Good Neighbor Award is intended to recognize individual contributions, not association or companywide efforts.  The Good Neighbor Award recipient will receive a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice on their behalf. Does not have to be awarded every year. The 2022 Good Neighbor Award recipient was Chris Whitten of Premeer Real Estate.  In his honor, Operation Stand Down RI received a $1,000 grant from NRIBR.  We will be announcing the 2024 recipient on 4/24/24. 


REALTOR® of the Year
Presented each July, the REALTOR of the Year® award recognizes an outstanding member of the Board (in good standing) who has provided distinguished service to the Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS®, RI Association of REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS®, the Business Community and has demonstrated volunteerism in civic and charitable organizations.  The 2024 application will become available 4/24/24.   Congratulations to our 2023 REALTOR® of the Year Michelle Keach. See a list of Past Award Winners Here. 

Golden “R”
The Golden “R” award is a one-time award and may be presented in the Fall to an active REALTOR® member in good standing who has provided exceptional and distinguished service to the Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS, State Association and National Association over the years.  This individual continues to promote and support the Northern Rhode Island Board and its mission.  Congratulations to Ryan Antrop, our 2023 Awardee.

Rising Star Award
This award may be presented in the Fall to a New REALTOR® Member of 3 years or less who has provided outstanding service as a volunteer with the Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® and demonstrates civic and other volunteer involvement, business accomplishments and REALTOR® spirit.  This is not a sales production based award and applicants must have met the Association’s committee or task force volunteer attendance policy.  The 2024 application will become available 4/24/24.  Congratulations to Fatima Deziel, our 2023 Awardee. 

Affiliate of the Year
The Affiliate of the Year award may be presented in the Fall to an Affiliate member who has provided outstanding service as a volunteer of the Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® and demonstrates civic and other volunteer involvement, regularly supports NRIBR and its mission, and maintains a high degree of professional standards and integrity.  Applicants must have met the Association’s committee or task force volunteer attendance policy.  The 2024 application will become available 4/24/24.  Congratulations to our 2023 Awardee Sean Hogan.

Richard Fontaine Award 
The Richard Fontaine award may be presented in the Fall to a member of our Board of Directors who has provided exceptional and distinguished service.  Congratulations to our 2023 Awardee Duane Boucher.

NRIBR Scholarship Award
The NRIBR annual scholarship is awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement, leadership ability, and need to two high school students or those with 1 year remaining at a college or university.  The amount of each scholarship is $1,250.  The filing deadline for the 2024 application was 4/1/24.  Recipients will be announced soon.
