P. Ryan Antrop as its 2024 REALTOR® of the Year
(Lincoln, RI – August 14, 2024) – The Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® (NRIBR) is proud to announce P. Ryan Antrop of Residential Properties, Ltd., as its 2024 REALTOR® of the Year. This prestigious award acknowledges Antrop’s extensive contributions to the real estate profession and his steadfast commitment to ethical standards and community service. Antrop will be honored at the Association’s Annual Meeting and Installation luncheon taking place October 3, 2024 at the Pawtucket Country Club.
Antrop has been a significant figure in the NRIBR, serving as its 2015 NRIBR President and focusing on enhancing member engagement. Separately, in the same year, he was also the President of the Statewide MLS, where he emphasized leveraging technology to improve service efficiency. In 2023, his outstanding contributions to the REALTOR® Association at the local, state, and national levels were recognized with the NRIBR’s Golden R Award.
Antrop has served the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® (RIAR) as the Chair of the RIAR Forms Committee since 2021. Under his guidance, the committee has developed and updated crucial forms, including the Exclusive Buyer Representation Agreement, Rhode Island Purchase and Sale Agreements, and other essential tools that enhance the professionalism and efficiency of REALTORS® in the state.
Antrop has been a licensed REALTOR® for 19 years and currently serves as the Managing Broker of Residential Properties in Cumberland, RI. Antrop’s professional credentials include the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and e-PRO® certifications. He is also a certified NAR Professional Standards Mediator.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Antrop is dedicated to his community. He served on the Cumberland Zoning Board from 2015 to 2020 and is the current Board Chair of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern Rhode Island, where he has been involved since 2015. Additionally, he plays a key role in the Boy Scouts of America’s Narragansett Council as a member of the Executive Board and Nominating Committee.
