The Ombudsperson program in its simplest definition is informal mediation and it is a benefit of membership in the Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS®. In some cases, it can address and solve minor complaints from the public. It can also solve inter-REALTOR® conflicts before they become serious problems. The ombudsperson, our CEO Suzanne Silva, CAE, RCE, can address general real estate inquiries, listen to transaction details, and review the REALTOR® Association’s Code of Ethics and enforcement issues.
